Where did this come from? I was browsing through Facebook pages today to see what tricks Facebook has played on me only to find one. (Ha!) “Write a recommendation…” on a page - but for what? (The page?) And to whom? (People browsing their Facebook page?) This is the first time I’ve seen a recommendations box on Facebook although they’ve apparently been around for a while (see here ; Inside Facebook ; Slashgear). What purpose does it serve? Who’s using this? What results are you seeing? What result were you expecting in the first place? One would presume this is related to the much reviled Recommendations Bar and the Facebook Recommends widget from Facebook Developers. Please leave a comment if you have more info.
